We got a 4 pack of simple cup holders for about $3, Wallyworld, Napa, etc.
It hangs on the bar that goes to the wind deflectors on each side of the bike, one for me one for the wife. Coffee travel mugs, water bottles, coke bottles, no problem.
Only issue is is hangs in front of the CB but you can still get around it to adjust squelch if you need to. If you want it off the bike it just unhooks.
