no there is not. the dive shaft has a seal on it before it connects with the rear end splines.... this connection is then lubercated with the rear end oil. If you remove the drive shaft from the rear end you MUST replace this seal or it will leak (don't ask how I know)

it is a bugger to find on the parts fisch , it is on the one entitled "propellor shaft"
