Driving/Fog lights - GL1800

I have a pair of fog lights from Kuryakyn and seeing more ads on the L.E.D. set up. Has anyone seen both side-by-side to determine if there is a drastic difference in brightness?

led is very very bright... but that doesn't mean is has a great light output. don't expect them to light ur way like a regular bulb.

yes there is also a set that will look like xenon lights, pretty good looking!

The only LED headlight bulbs I know of are:

I can't find a price on their web site, but these purport to be LED direct replacement 7" bulbs for trucks.

OTOH, the advantages may not be there. The power consumed is 32W on low beams, 58W on high beams. Stock Goldwing headlights are 45/45, and even very bright headlights are 55/60 (Silverstars). The primary advantage of the LED's is probably long life. My guess is that the price is astronomical, which is why they are aimed at truckers who spend countless hours on the road and can recoup the investment by longer bulb life.

Electrical Connection had LED driving "fog" lights for under $100. They are great for adding the "being seen" lighting. Honda makes LED fog lights that are super bright. Supposed to be brighter than the other fog lights available, but I think I saw these Honds LED's at about $400.?!.!
