82 has 16" rear wheels not 17" so no it won't. Check your tire if someone put on an earlier rim or you might have an 81. 82 should be 140/90-16 130/90-16 will work. If its a 17" on yours check the steering neck plate for the year of your bike.

81 has 17 inch rim??? I knew mine was 16 inch , just didnt notice it in the ad. 82 have 16 inch rim

Yes sir, it sure does,17" rim on the rear of 80-81. 82's are 16"that is correct...
