Planning our vacation trip to the Colorado Springs area for a family reunion.

and the Suburban is tuned for E-0 87 octane gas for pulling the RV trailer which with my bike loaded up is going to be close to 9,000#

I found out last summer that using E-10 just will not give the power it needs to give decent MPG and to move that trailer down the road.

so far, the last E-0 gas station is in Salina, KS

from there to Limon, CO and then down to Colorado Springs is totally devoid of E-0 gas.

that is according to https://www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=KS

anyone know of any gas stations that handle Ethanol Free gas out west on I-70 ?
or down CO-24 to Colorado Springs?

Dennis,

I only rely on them if there is a recent update entered by someone.

Note that on the one I displayed, it was recently update by "Brian"
I have found those to be reliable.

Other than that, on new routes that I will be using again, I keep a record of the E-0 stations that we pass on the way.

I just found a new E-0 station "to me" right here at home, Collinsville, OK. only 11 miles from my house. There is one at the marina 3.3 miles from me, he has 87, 89, 91 E-0 and 87 e-10

There is a store 5.6 miles north and the only gas they sell is 87, 91 E-0
plus diesel of course. this is farming and ranching country.

I need to stop in Collinsville and add that new station to the E-0 app that I have been using.

well, it seems that https://www.pure-gas.org has some pretty solid postings.

i have called and validated that all of the stations that I have marked down for my Fuel Stops all have E-0 gas today.

in fact, the lady in Colorado Springs told me, "We are the ONLY station that has Real Gas"

nice to know in advance. They show all of the updates for each station. in this case,
this station is being revalidated by users frequently. When I see consistent updates,
that pretty much validates that particular station has E-0.

but a phone call, just helps the "feel good" quotient.
