If you are carefull, there are some real bargains on Ebay. I just won the bidding for two JM upgrade speakers for my '84 Aspencade for $21.50. Good thing too, the guy who had the bike before me installed some speakers that were taller than the space behind the covers. I priced some new speakers and they aren't cheap.

Now I can swap speakers and install the covers (also found on Ebay).

Any words of wisdom out there on the subject of installing replacement speakers?

Varnish works too! Someone on this forum mentioned Scotch Guard. I kinda like the Scotch Guard since you can put on several coats without building up a thick layer. Of course another way would be to put the speakers in and move to the desert!
