The ABS light may be related to the brake lights staying on, get that sorted first.
When the Fi light comes on stop and put the side stand down with the engine idling, the light should start flashing, count long and short flashes. Long = 10, short = 1, as in 2 long and 2 short = 22.

Tried that and nothing happens
Sometimes the light goes out by itself
Like today
The light was on
Stopped the bike
Started it again and the light went out when I started moving
Then later came on again????
And then also the EFI light came on????

Terry, that is not how Dave said to check it. You stop the bike, and without shutting it off, put the sidestand down. If there are codes in the computer, it will start flashing the code.

Once again I have done that
Stopped the bike, and without shutting it off, put the side-stand down
The light is not flashing just coming on and when the bike is turned off and restarted maybe a half hour later comes back on for around 10 meters thens goes off again and then maybe 20kays down the road comes back on?back on continual
No flashing the same as the EFI light?

The procedure for getting the flash codes is for the FI light, not the ABS. The procedure for the ABS codes is
Remove the No. 5 and 6 control motor fuses from the fuse box (10;
page 17-5) with the ignition switch turned to OFF to be sure that
each fuse is not burned out.
FUSE BOX
• If either fuse is burned out, perform the troubleshooting of problem
code “4” (No. 5 fuse) or “5” (No. 6 fuse) without installing the fuse.
No. 5
“ABS MTR. FR.”
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON. The ABS indicator should come on.
3. Wait for 5 seconds and the ABS indicator goes off.
No. 6
“ABS MTR. RR.”
4. Install either the No. 5 or the No. 6 fuse immediately after the ABS
indicator is off (within 3 seconds).
5. The problem code is indicated by the number of times the ABS indi-
cator blinks.
TO ERASE THE PROBLEM CODE:
1. Install the remaining fuse (No. 5 or No. 6) while the problem code is
being indicated (i.e., the ABS indicator is blinking).
2. When code erasure is complete, the ABS indicator stays on.

Have you repaired the wiring you cut yet? That switch is used for the ABS, brake light and the cruise control as well. I'm not sure on a bike but on lots of cars issues with cruise will turn on the light.
I think I would get the issue with the brake light fixed first. Concentrate on that and a good repair for the wiring you cut. Then take it for a spin. Keep your fingers crossed and if you are lucky the other issues will go away all by themselves. :)
