electrical problems (starter)

I have a 2003 model motorbike. I faced a problem with the starter. i switched the engine off and it was still worked. then i disconnect the battery from the motorbike to stop working. I sent it to the engineer. He checked the relays a and b and the starter and he said me that they work perfect. The problem was that there is no power from the relays to the starter and he changed the wire that it connect them. Do you know if there is another problem except the wire? Maybe there is another place that i must check?

Pretty sure thing the A relay was stuck and came unstuck when you disconnected the battery. No way the wire from the relay to the starter caused the problem.
