My question is : The Dyna c31 type III -or- the S model ?

and is there a more affordable brand that works as well as these?

What about a couple of Ford ignition modules, the type that fits inside the distributor? Use one for each point set...
Maybe even fit the associated pickups where the points are located?

Thanks but, I'm not familiar with the distributer enough to know how to go about making that change over...not yet anyway..

I put in the Dyna S, so far have been really happy with it, I just wish I would have waited to get it, Dyna updated and made a few changes to it to make setting the timing easier (or so it looks)

TY, did the update change the model number? I mean if I found one on ebay, would it still be dyna s model? and do you know of a less expensive place to get one? Thier between 120.00 and 160.00 on ebay....

I think I paid about 130 or so for mine, don't think the model Num changed, they just updated the back plate. If you can get it, go for the kit that comes with the dyna coils also and replace it all at once.
