Hi everyone! Have a new question it is now winter time here in northwest Ohio and I am tearing down the wing and painting it. My question is if anyone has any good ways to take the emblams off without hurting the plastic? I don't plan on putting them back on. I am going for a nice clean look on the old girl. It is a 1985 interstate. Let me know if anyone has a good way of removing these. Thanks

I think some have had good success by using dental floss or fishing line. Put it under the edge of emblem and use a sawing motion to get under it and remove it. You might need to heat it up some first with a hair dryer to help soften the adhesive. They are held on by double sided tape. Also some emblems have a little tab sticking through a hole in the panels to help locate it properly. You will need to work around that.
Another thought is to spray some WD40 around the edges to help loosen it.
