What's a good type of paint to touch up my 84 ASP's engine. Gota small spot, less than 1 square inch, to redo. Its where the shaft exits the engine but I don't know if that part gets very hot.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Auto parts stores have aluminum-colored high temperature paint that matches pretty well to the Goldwing engine. Mine looks great.

Grant,Dupli Brand has a spray paint that is an exact match for the Honda engine paint..

It can be had at any Kragen or AutoZone parts store.

Dupli Aluminum Engine Enamel # DE1615
That's the one! I've seen it used. Looks perfect and sparays on thick so you get a good build-up of paint on the engine, just like OEM.

Thanks;

I'm up in Nova Scotia, Canada. Those stores are not around here, but I'm sure I can find that paint.

My 84 ASP is mint and I am trying to keep it that way.

Thanks Again

Newfiewinger, Tremclad makes a hi temp aluminum brush on paint that if mixed with a minuteparticle of hi temp Tremclad flat black, comes out very close to the Honda silver/greyengine color. Any Home Hardware carries that line of paint.
