I have a 1976 gl 1000,i just found a 1977 1000 motor on ebay.will this work in my 76,what would i have to change if anything?thanks in advance

the replacement engine off of ebay is a no go,the seller won,t ship to canada,however i just recieved a message from someone in canada who has a good 81 1100 engine he would sell with 85000 km on it,what would i need from the 81 for it to work in my 76?thanks in advance
