Do these carb have accelerater pumps on them? since the carbs were redone, did something get missadjusted? It the accelorater pump getting fuel. In case you don't know, the accerlorater pump pumps fuel into the carbs when the throttle is first twisted. After it is twisted, the vacuum from the engine pulls it in. When the throttle is increase, there is a drop in vacuum initially, therefore not as much full is pulled in and the accel pump makes up for it. If you look in the carb from the air side, with the engine off, twist the throttle, you should see a squirt of fuel get squirted into the carbs. It maybe there but it also must be enough.
I don't know these carbs but 95% of the carbs on the market for MC's have them.
