Been working in the carb area on the 1500 and when I started to put the left side plastic on I noticed a what look like a vacuum line that doesn’t appear it has ever been connected to anything and never has had the wire clamp on it.i looked all over in the area and didn’t see any place it might hook to,motor runs smooth, idles smooth and the line doesn’t appear to have vacuum on it that I can tell, didn’t have the carbs off the bike.

that is what I suspected, you raised it up for the photo shoot.

on my '94SE CA model, it had a canister and two lines went down behind the carbs to towards the canister. One is from the carb airbox, the other to the canister. pulled that one loose and left it hang.

threw the canister in the trash.
