I was just researching for next summer, and connected to my favorite, at www.viamichelin.co.uk
Lest my UK mates get all "miffed", I also like the AA site as well...it's their version of the AAA here in the US.
Having plugged in Prague, Czech Republic to Krakow, Poland, it asked if I wanted to view the EIGHTEEN traffic incidents, on that route? :shock: My thoughts are:
1) Um, no, not really! :cheeky1: and/or-
2) Only if there are REALLY gory pictures! :cooldevil:
I also thought....hmmm...is there an alternate route?

I presume you mean the traffic accident locales, and not the gruesome photos? :shock:
I can only imagine that many are able to "monitor" their route, in "real-time" these days. I, on the other hand, am a total Luddite, and find GPS even more distracting and dangerous than unfolding a map, while riding along at 80mph.
This, from the guy who got lost (ok, twice) last summer, trying to get from southern Belgium to Amsterdam, which is a distance of about 150 miles, perhaps? :cheeky1::cheeky1:

Yeah, I meant the accident locations. Why would we purposely want to go via that route, I would prefer to avoid an accident prone location.
Oh, maybe that is why they show them to you. Put those locations in your GPS as point to avoid using. Like I do for "toll roads"
