I noticed yesterday that the right side apperture under the steering was giving off more heat than the left, a lot hotter in fact, after only a 15 minute drive.

Is there something down there that could cause this? Like the rad filler ?



It just seemed odd, and i haven't had the bike all that long (a month) and the weather has been so bad here I haven't gotten too many miles on her yet, so I'm still getting used to her.

Maybe one of the radiators is hotter than the other, restricted flow in one of them?

Might just be the Installation of the Fan Housings is not the same... eg Could have a Gap on once side, between the rubber lip on the housing, and the radiator that it's supposed to fit up flush to... in which case, hot air from the radiator is by passing the fans (and in-turn not exiting the sides of the bike), instead going out the handle bar area.

The Honda Manual warns about this happening, if the fans are not installed correctly.
