I've come full circle. I started with my first Wing, in 2000, a 1985 Aspy. Rode it four years and sold it, to buy a '96 Aspencade. I rode it until I went down in the rain, in Arkansas. Next was a 2000SE, until a man bumped it and rolled it off the side stand, dropping it onto a steel handrail, breaking the fairing and every piece of plastic from the bags forward, totaling the bike. Now I'm on my 2nd '85 Aspy, with 21,000 miles on it.
I've always heard that things like the fork seals, caliper cylinders, final drive assy., will exchange between the 1200 and 1500. How true is this? Are there others that will swap back and forth? I still have some parts from the 1500 and need to know. If not, I will sell the 1500 parts.

You can use partzilla catalog for this purpose. When you click on one part number,a page will open like below showing the related fitments.

The final drive is compatible, have to use the 1500 rear wheel also. Fork seals are the same. Not sure on the brakes.
