My 2008 wing won’t start. It shows an F1 code. It did this once before and it seemed to have something to do with the kickstand. When I raised it, it started and has run fine till now. I mentioned it at my last visit to the dealer and they said everything was fine. I visited Yosemite 2 weeks ago and it ran well all day. This morning……nothing. Thoughts?

Was it in neutral when you were trying to start it? Was the side stand light on? Did it crank and not start or not crank?

It was in neutral, kickstand down and the stand light on. It cranked but no fire. I also tried it with the stand up, light off and got the same result

That's helpful. Most likely the crank position sensor.
