Fader control wiring, GL1500?

I have a 89 and the PO took off the fader control. There are: 2 blue, 2 black, 2 red, 2 green wires twisted together. And 1 yellow, 1 brown twisted together and 1 white, 1 orange twisted together.

Where can I get a replacement fader and where should the wires be attached to the fader? I don't want to blow the radio.

It would be a lot easier to replace your present wiring with a Rear Speaker Fader/Wire Harness Kit than to try to rewire in a fader control. See Rudy's post above, $24.00.

I know.....I know..... but my last bike was a Concours so I'm still a little "frugal" :)

I bought rear speakers and it came with a fader kit but it does not show how to wire them in. I have the rear speakers in and pluged but the fader kit did not come with instructions.
