Hello guys. I've done some searches on this topic, but don't seem to come up with what I'm looking for. I also have the Clymer and service manuals. It is still not clear to me exactly how to get to the fairing speakers (GL1500) for service or replacement. I get the idea that it is best to go in from the front (windshield side). Is this true? Does anybody know of a link that shows the operation?
Thanks in advance.

on the manual i have. it says to remove the instrument panel.
1 remove top compartment
2 remove mirrors
3remove headlight knob
4remove plastic nut and washers
5remove fresh air outlets
6set windshield lever at upper position
7release windshield trim from the windshield
8remove instrument panel from fairing

im guessing the speaker size is 4" as the rears.

Thanks William. I appreciate you help. However, I am looking for something more specific to the 1500. I'm guessing your manual is for the 1200.

Hi Marcus,
William's instructions are for the GL15.
With the 1200 all you have to do to get to the speakers is pop off the grills.

Good point. Maybe I just need to get in there and go for it.
