I know that this subject has been tackled quite a bit, but I have one question:



Was this a "RECALL" fix, or was Honda fixing this problem under "Warranty" only?

I have this problem now with my '01...and obviously it's out of warranty now!:X

Kevin, it was a warranty fix. In many cases though dealers were able to get Honda to validate a warranty claim up to as late as last year so it's worth a phone call to your dealer. You can get the service bulletin 7 from this page;

I printed the Service Bulletin and will take it to the dealer and see if they'll take care of it for me!
