Final Drive Flange

Hey Guys, anyone know right off hand if the final drive flange from the 84 and 85's will fit the 86's model. Or if the whole final drive from one of those will fit the 86. Know the wheel is different but not sure about the drives.

They are differant. 84 85 flange goes with 84 85 wheel. etc. The auctual final drive though is interchangeable JB

So I could use any final drive unit from 84-87 but the flange would have to be from an 86-87 correct?

im 99 percent sure this is correct. I wrote a post on the differant bearing sizes on the flanges this last summer when I was changing things around but cant seem to find it and comparing the old ones I have here large bearing 6 pin flange flange off a 86-87and small bearing flange 6 pin 84 85 im going to say the final drives themselves from 84 to 87 are interchangeable. JB
