I like to wait for a good spring rain to wash away all the layers of salt on the road before I go for my first ride of the year. Thats about two more weeks away here in WI. It really doesn't matter where, I'll enjoy it no matter where It takes me.

Sauceman just rode from Atlanta to Salt Lake City in freezing temps and sleet whiteouts last week. Over 2500 miles in one week. Bet he didn't see any of you winter weenies on the way there.

Got mine in this weekend! Had to do a little electrical work Sunday. Marker lights and the power port I added were dead. Traced it all back to PO lousy mods and cleaned all that up. Took about 2 hrs longer than it should have. Added 6lbs of air each tire. And Then.... A nice 2 hr ride in the sunshine, even though it was only about 48, it was still pleasurable. It is time. Only thing now is to break the news to the truck that it will again sit all summer. Wife now claims herself a bike widow-'happens every year'.:)

It was 70 here yesterday. Bike's been asleep since december...I just couldn't resist. Woke her up and we went for a ride and it was wonderful. Said I was just going to take her around the block.....75 miles later I came back home.
