I think there is a post somewhere that shows you how to do it. The short answer is yes, but you have to trim a small V piece out of the top rear of the cover.

I guess you could. But will the air bag deploy if you need it. That is why they tell you not to do that.

The airbag sensors work by sensing the sudden stop. The instant change in inertia. So if you add things to the forks and front wheel, that can or could or might and is said by Honda not to do simply because it may cause the air bag to not work and deploy.

Thanks guys, I now know the covers will physically fit and the plastic types are the go.

I am thinking similarly that in the event of a collision the inertia sensors will work, cover or no cover
