How come I'm fixated on all things that move? Skis, bicycles, motorcycles, sports cars, boats.... How come I never want to be still?

T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia) wrote that the appeal of motorcycling is the "lustfulness of moving swiftly." That'll do for me......that'll do......

There is a true sexiness to it, there is a life force pulsing.... a pulsing beat in never being still, never stopping, always stretching for a horizon that's never there, just out of reach......always just over there......

I'm right there with you, but I'd have to qualify by limiting my desire to be in motion to things with engines...

Boats, cars, trucks, bikes, snowmobiles, wave runners, etc.

It seems I can't propel myself fast enough on my own.

P.S. CJ, how can I tell, without even looking, that you are the author of a thread just by the title? :?:?:?

It's real simple CJ! When you quit moving, you quit moving!
