If anyone out there has a fuel gauge that doesn't register correctly, I had the same problem, mine would bottom out after about 150 km so I just rode by the odometer, started looking after 250 km and never went past about 300 km. I have just run a bottle of seafoam through my bike, (half a bottle per tank, tow tanks in a row) and not only have I noticed a small improvement in the engine performance, the fuel gauge is now working correctly and hits red at approx. 270 km with moderate driving. If anyone one else has this problem its a cheap solution that worked for me....good luck!
