Welcome to the forum. Have you tried tapping on the outer casing? Sometimes that frees them up after a long rest.

Just want to clarify. Pump gets power just doesn't turn?

Mine was sitting for 5 years, same problem, all efforts to fix it went no where. The best solution is the airtex E8000. It's almost a direct replacement, it's just a little smaller in diameter, but they include a rubber bushing to make it fit better. You can get it at autozone for about $100, part number is E8000.

Also, might want to replace the pump relay while you're at it. When I replaced my pump it only took about 30 minutes before the relay cooked.

It was fourteen posts before wingsam asked if he has power.

The original post was "I need help fixing my fuel pump".

blackknytecnc posts that his pump did the same thing, but there are no symptoms listed.

Did we jump to conclusions on this one?

Just what is the problem with the pump that it needs fixing?
