I only need a few inches of pipe but all the muffler shops around here only have aluminumized pipe with is a bitch to weld..at least the guy who will do it for me says it is. I have access to lots of junk yards any suggestions as to what to use..anyone already found the matching pipes on a old Checy or Ford, Honda??????

I have to find two sizes that fit into each other and match the diameter on the header and muffler ends of original 76 pipes.

I know this is long shot but I figure someone has done this these things are alwasy rusting out at the joint.

RB look on NGW in the how too section. I did a bit on repairing this union using off the shelf parts from Auto Zone. Cost was like $5 plus a bit of welding time.

This is what I used. A couple of Bucks from AutoZone.

And this is what it looked like when installed. After I was done fitting it I put some relief cuts down the side and clamped it up and it works just fine.
