Yup, the tire guy probably broke it while breaking the tire bead from the rim. The sensors are tucked up inside the rim pretty much out of the way of running flat.



Repair with same, do away with the stock sensor and go to an external sensor. (My son did away with the system and went with a stock valve stem). :D



Being an old dude and set in my ways, I rely on a good digital gauge. :action:

He did not disable the system. The light still indicates a fault. The shop manual would be a good source for this info.
