My friend's GL1500 is running Warm... I suspect Scale Buildup, due to this new-to-him bike having sat for a long time.
Is there anything that can be added to the coolent, to disolve the scale? I'm thinking of using that "Mr Coffee" brand of cleaner, that works so well on my coffee maker. Any harm in that, or got something better?
ref: We've replaced the rubber hoses to the reserve tank; the radiator cap; and the coolent sensor.
