Just a heads up to anyone riding northbound on I-275 just north of the Ohio river (near 1st or 2nd exits).
The freeway there is concrete, and in one section of a curve the inside lane is slipping away from the fast lane. The gap is now about 3-4" wide and also a few inches lower than the fast lane.
If anyone on a bike tries to change lanes there....it could be very bad....will probably go down. If it slips any more, a tire could get stuck in the gap....not good.
So stay safe out there!

Sorry about that. I was in the car when I saw this one, but it scared me when I thought about trying to change lanes there on a bike. Be safe!

Several years back there was a "Gap" in the road surface on the Washington Beltway (495).

However, the size was such that it only affected some bikes with those "skinny narrow" front tires.

The road surface was repaired.....!!
