Found a pic of my first motorcycle, it was taken Summer 1972, a 1970 Noton 750 Comando Commando.
I had both stock foot controls and rear sets for it, also used either the low bars or simply a flat "drag" bar.

Great bike but after busting the transmission for the second time I traded it in 1974 for my first 1974 Triumph Trident .... seen below on the day I brought her home from the dealer. My step brother and a buddy had raced his '73 Trident a whole season and reset the record for F/stock in AMDRA three times and in all that racing, only suffered a broken ring on a teardown inspection .... no broke transmissions.

Carry on all! :waving:

In 1972 I was morphing a 305 superhawk into a hardtail 9 over stock girder painted pale yellow with english ivy airbrushed over the backgorund (on the frame) with Mr. Natural (comic) on the tank and Miss Liberty (pin up) on the flared dirt tracker style rear fender.
I was riding an Ariel square Four that was always eyeballed but was a terrible ride.
As a back up I had an sportster that was always needing something.
