My front brakes on my 81 GL1100 are very spongy so I decided to investigate. Upon examining the front master cylinder/resevoir I noticed a bunch of crud in the housing underneath the plastic reservoir.
My question - how does one remove the plastic reservoir to clean out the master cylinder.:baffled: It looks like it is just pressed in there, however, I do not want to cause any unnecessary damage by just prying it off without asking the community of experts first....
I gotta get the crud cleaned out in order to bleed the brakes properly...I rode 150 mile today with poopy brakes:goofygrin:
Thanks
