I am not in a panic yet, but these 2 screws will not budge. I have tried to treat them with liquid wrench and another solvent. I have tried heating them with a pencil torch. The clutch master cylinder screws also seem to be very tight. Someday I will have to add fluid, change brake pads etc. and will need to get the cover off. any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks to everyone who replied on previous problems I have had.

Glenn, see the post about "stuck master cylinder cover", by verybadmonkey, I think it will cover you question. And also welcome to the forums!:D

Try a little grinding compound on the screwdriver tip. It may take an impact driver or one of the new screw removers from Sears.

BTW better put your location in your profile, with folks from all over the world on the forum it makes it easier to recommend sources, etc. Besides it'll keep REDWING from working up a lather!:waving:
