1983 1100 Aspy Front Brake Reservoir Removal??

How the heck does the front brake reservoir come off.

Thought I remembered reading it is simply held on by an o-ring after the top cover and rubber diaphragm are taken off- after removing the two top cover screws.

Have prudently tried to pry the reservoir up with my putty knive.Don't want to ruin my plastic/vinyl reservoir learning what not to do!

Thanks,

Rod

it is sealed by a O ring and it might have hardened making it stubborn to remove . by turning it you maybe able to get it loosen up some. twisting and prying at the same time. watch out for the fluid getting on the plastics .

mileage 16,000 . is that your mileage ? or is that speedo mileage ? sure is low for a 83.
