For the past year or so I have had a rattle coming from the front wheel when hitting bumps. Have been trying to find the source. Rotor covers on tight, nothing in the storage cubby hole on the fairing, fenders felt tight. Even took the headlight out to see if something was loose there. Today I was checking front end over and happened to grab hold of the fender extensions that go over the speedometor, and brake lines? The ones held on by a rubber grommet?Loose as could be. Not to the point of coming off, but definately had a slop in the center hole. New grommet, and all is quiet.

Well done Tom. You were lucky not to lose that cover, they fall off easily oce the grommet is missing.

Those little parts could probably use one of Rudy's keepers.

The rubber grommet never left the bike. Was still attached. The center of the rubber grommet was hogged out to the point it was creating a rattle. Was no danger of part falling off.
