I just removed the floorboards and went back to footpegs on my '86 Aspencade. The engine front hanger bolt (threaded on both ends) obviously came with the boards, as it extends about an 1 1/4" out each side. My question: is the stock bolt also threaded on both ends with cap nuts? In the service manual it appears to be, but when looking up parts online, the diagrams show a hex head bolt with a regular hex nut. I know this has been asked before,so sorry for asking again. At some point in time I'd just like to get the original bolt back on. Thanks!
