can someone tell me if the front forks on a 84 goldwing be removed without taking the fairing off. i was concerned about the air lines to the forks. i'm hoping the fairing doesn't have to come off.i wanted to ride some this year.spent the whole mo of june and part of july last year rebuilding the rear shocks. well worth it

Just finished rebuilding my entire front end, forks and new springs, wheel bearings and steering bearings and did not have to mess with the Fairing at all. If you are going that far into the forks you may want to check your steering bearings, clean them up and regrease if they need it. If you have flat spots or does not turn smoothly then you will probably need to replace race and bearings. The air supply is screwed to the upper tree and replace the O rings in that as well.
