Front lights around GL1500 brake housing

312 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  mnccnm
Hello all,

On my recently acquired 1999 1500, the front amber lights that run around the edge of the brake housing don't work. I found the fuse blown and replaced it, but knowing that there is usually a reason fuses blow, I wasn't optimistic. Sure enough it blew again within minutes. Everything else seems to be working.
Is there anywhere in particular I should start the troubleshooting? Is there any known issue with these lights I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

If it's the "ring if fire lights on the rotor covers "
They are all aftermarket and you will have to follow each wire and find the pinched wire or stripped /cut wire and fix it. You have a short to find.
Those are the lights. Just knowing they are aftermarket helps a lot. Thanks.
