Hey gang ,I have Polk Audio MM521's in the front. I like them but think they would sound better with some backing. just curious as what every body used for front speaker baffles ..aftermarket , make your own, or WHAT ??? :cool:...

I used the XTC foam baffles. I see that they are listed as 5-1/4". I have Infinity 5-1/4" speakers and had to tweak the speaker opening a bit for them to fit. I used the 5-1/4" baffles on mine and they worked well. I saw where someone else bought the 5-1/4" baffles by mistake instead of the 4" but was still able to make them work. I found mine at a local stereo installation place instead of ordering from Crutchfield.

Make sure to get the regular depth and not the slim line (shallow) depth
