how to inspect front suspension in gl1800 . and how to inspect the anti dive system?

specially that when i loose hands from the handlebar the handlebar vibrates right and left (plays ) ..is that normal in GL1800 2005

You are describing front wheel wobble. There are many threads on front wheel wobble that might help you. The anti dive test is easy. Either it works, or it locks up and makes the front end hard as a rock.

Alan is right. You will know if the AD isn't working, as the front end will turn into a pogo stick.

1. Do not remove your hands. If you think you have a problem, jack up the front and see if you have for/aft movement of the forks. If so, then the bearings may need torqued.
2. Lock the front brake, then "bounce" the front end as hard as you can. If the ADV is working, it should lock up during the 2nd or 3rd bounce.

Anti dive operates off the rear brake circuit. With the pedal depressed the front suspension should be stiff.
