AZgl1500 is right. When the rabbit hit the wheel it slowed it down and part of the wobble is the rear wheel is now going slightly faster so it is now trying to pass the front and causes the wobble. It's the same reason a trailer will wobble behind you and applying power usually stops the wobble. That gyroscope post about this was right on too.
