Not long ago I had a bird do the same thing. I saw it feeding on road kill ahead of me and knew it was going to happen, so I started slowing down just in case.

Sure enough, this fairly good sized South American hawk left at the right moment and hit my front tire on the back side.

The wobble was unbelievable.
