I am in the process of changing the fuel filter again. It is a pain in the arse to get to it. Has anyone ever done a relocation of the filter to a better place? If so, where? Got pictures?

My 1980 was a bear to get to under the tank in the middle of the engine so I put some new longer fuel line on and moved it to within an inch of the fuel pump on the right side and used to old bracket to hold the new fuel line up off the engine case!

Now I can pop new filters in in less than 3 minutes, what a pleasure!!!

I went to a smaller stone filter, works fine, looks better and i can change them often for $3 each!:clapper:

I got a longer fuel hose and relocated my filter under the false tank. Much easier now to replace.
