My fuel mileage dropped from a consistent 38-42 to 34, 34 and 36 in my last three tanks. Drove me nuts.
This weekend I changed oil, filter and cleaned the air filter. The microfiber rag I carried in the tool tray had "somehow" gotten placed to the rear of the tray, down in that little crevice, you know, where the air goes into the air filter box?
Took the rag, put it back where it belongs and the bike doesn't seem to run so rich.
Odd how that works.
