What kind of mileage do you guys/gals get on your LTD? I average a steady 38 mpg. Seems low compared to some.

That's actually a bit better than I used to get with the SE-i.

If you lived about 200 miles more west I'd tell ya to run down here and I'd check the sync of the carbs for ya.

The best I have done, 45-55mph on the twisties along the coast, is about 48.

If I twist it some, or run at hiway, I get 43-44

The best I've done is 50.1 mpg on the interstate @ 65mph. In the hill's and twisties around here about 40-45mpg.

I'm with you 38mpg. I did clean the throttle body this past sunday and replaced vacum lines that I found that had dried and cracked. Now I can't wait till this weekend to run a couple of tanks through to see if it has helped.

Oh! you carb guys don't count....my Dad and Uncle get between 46 and 48 on their 85's:p
