Fuel running out of vent hose?

The vent tube?? that comes off the right carb hasa free flow of fuel coming out after bike runs for a few minuets. I originally thought I had a fuel line bad until I pulled the carbs up and traced the tube down to a vent. It had a nail in the end underneath the bike, as does two other ones. I pulled the nail out and fuel came out. I put the carbs back on and started the bike, I get a nice flow of fuel out of that tube.

What do I need to look for or do....besides taking the bike to the shop?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a stuck needle valve, also check to see if the fuel cutoff valve under the gas cap cover is missing. If the needle valve is not stopping the fuel when the bowels are full, the carbs will have to be taken off and rebuilt.:(
