Fuel strainer

Is there a fuel strainer in the tank of a 1982 GL1100-I? I can't see one on Bike Bandit's parts list schematic. And if so, how do you get to it tocheck for clogging? Thanks.

Just fine mesh screens over the ends of the petcock outlet tubes inside the tank. Only way to clean them is to blast air from the outside up into petcock with an empty tank and wet vacuum it out.
