Anyone have any idea on how hard it is to chnge a fuse block ( fuse holder under side cover ) on the 97 GL 1500 I connected a set of Kuryakin Highway boards with LED's in them and it made the fuse get hot enought to melt a portion of te fuse block , it still works fine but does not look good cosmeticaly, I would lke to change it if is not too big a job.
Thanks in Advance

You obviously have/had a short to ground when you hooked up the LED's. The LED's don't pull enough on there own to cause a meltdown. I hope the situation has been fixed.

Also...to help avoid that...install a seperate fuse box that is relayed so it is off when the key is off. I put mine on the battery side of the bike (90 SE). I have since changed the battery.... All my empty fuses are used now...:action:
