Motorcycle kit from Garmin? I always thought you had to buy a seperate interface for the voice to be heard on the bike.

I have the power audio cable and a mono to sterio adapter. I spoke with someone at garmin who said that the adapters do not always work and that there cable was meant to be used with a sterio headset. They also said that it wouldn't make a difference if I am using a sterio to sterio or a mono to sterio adapter. Just some work and some don't. Any suggestions???

This won't work. You will have to get an interface (Kennedy in the USA make good ones at reasonable prices) to hear the voice through your existing helmet headsets. If you plug the 2610 into the bikes AUX input cable it might give you the voice when the wings audio is set to AUX, but that doesn't always work either and of course you can't listen to music while the gps is hogging the AUX channel.

Thank you all so much for your assistance. I have already contacted Kennedy. Alittle strange that the answer to my problem came from Dublin and that the company that makes the solution is here in Kansas were I am. Thanks again!!:D

That's the great thing about the internet, no barriers and help can come from anywhere.
